Meet Nikita, our stable manager

Meet Nikita, our stable manager. Nikita was born in The Netherlands and with one of her first words being paard (meaning horse in Dutch), there was no doubt that she was going to be a horse girl. With her uncle owning a farm nearby, she got to start riding at an early age. With many horses and ponies around her but minimal equipment like saddles and bridles, she learned to ride with mostly a helmet and a rope.

When Nikita was 11 years old she finally got her first pony from her parents for her birthday. Shortly after she started competing in showjumping and dressage and before they knew it, they were going on competitions every weekend, getting more serious in the sport by the day. During her free time, Nikita rode around on her bike starting young horses and ponies and helping horses and owners that were facing issues in the neighborhood, and at 15 years old she started working at a dressage stables.

She graduated in marketing and communication at the Johan Cruyff College at age 20 and after this, she traveled around the world to work with horses and gain more experience in countries like Spain, Germany, Ireland and the US. During this time she met her partner and in 2021 they settled in Sweden.

Nikita's main focus has been starting young horses, and helping horses with issues, but during her time in Sweden, she felt that she wanted to learn more ways of helping horses. This is where she decided to study Equine Massage Therapy. The combination of these experiences has created a unique path for her that she continues to use in her training.

Her training and therapy methods vary depending on the horse's needs and over the years she has developed a way for herself that combine different training methods like Monty Roberts, the TRT method and many more. Her number one priority is the well-being of horses and she will always continue to develop herself in order to create the best version of each individual horse.
