Training

At Lund Ridsport, we are happy to train your horse, or start your young horse.

When we welcome a new horse in our stables we treat it as our own, horse welfare is our top priority, and we want to make sure that every horse feels at home and gets the treatment and training that is best for each horse. After all, we are all different and so are horses, it is important to keep this in mind.

To create the best results, we combine the training with different types of therapy like massage, k-taping, and more. This way we get the best out of each horse during their training and competitions and make sure the horse is in the best possible shape he or she can be, mentally and physically.

Having your horse at our facilities for training offers numerous advantages that prioritize the well-being and development of each horse individually.

When starting young horses, our main focus is that the horses get the time they need to develop themselves. We create a stress-free environment where the horses get the chance to learn to become happy riding horses without implementing forceful techniques, so your horse gets to shine and enjoy the ride. We believe that this is the best long-term solution for horses to avoid future issues, no matter the discipline.

We use friendly training methods that create a genuine bond between horse and rider, ensuring that our horses are enjoying their training rather than feeling forced. This approach gives each horse the chance to become confident and be the best version of themselves.

At Lund Ridsport, we offer single training sessions. Think of it as a riding class, but for your horse. Whether you're looking for help with a particular issue or simply wish to observe your horse's training progress, we are here to help. These sessions provide an opportunity for your horse to receive focused attention, allowing you to gain insights and strategies to support their development.

For our boarders, this service is also available as a convenient option during times when you're unable to train your horse yourself, such as during vacations or busy periods. Rest assured, your horse will continue to receive consistent and professional care in your absence.
